We bid farewell to Ludovina Tavares (Newark, New Jersey), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 10, 2025 at the age of 90. Ludovina touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Ludovina may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ludovina touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alfredo Jose Tavares. She is survived by: her child Alzira Martins (Domingos); her sister Ana Matos (Agostinho); and her granddaughter Carla Martins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Buyus Funeral Home (426 Lafayette St, Newark, NJ 07105).
