She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Cristina Torres and Georgino Guzman; her brother Uriel Guzman; her daughter-in-law Eileen; and her grandson Daniel H. L. Graves.
She is survived by: her siblings, Norma Estrella and Ruben Guzman; and her children, Elvin Mendez, Madeline Rios (Joey), Wanda Lopez (Raymond), Judith Mendez, Ruben Mendez, Diane Mendez (Elexander), Marisol Oquendo (Derick) and George Mendez (Rosita). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ely Funeral Home (3316 NJ-33, Neptune City, NJ 07753). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Mt. Prospect Cemetery (2600 Heck Ave, Neptune City, NJ 07753).
