He is survived by: his wife Maria I. Galarza; his children, Eder Rivera Jr., Griselle Marie Santiago and Luis Edgardo Santiago; his children-in-law, MarySundy Rivera and Miguel A. Cosme; and his grandchildren, Eder Rivera III, Ariel Rivera, Edell G. Ponce, Paola Kristal Nuńez, Chrisangel Ledee, Gelyan Namir Santiago, Gardeliz Ivette Santiago, Edgardo Luis Santiago and Edriel Santiago.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Alvarez Funeral Home Inc. (240 Mt Prospect Ave, Newark, NJ 07104).
