He was predeceased by: his parents, Julio Matos and Natalia Fonseca; and his son Jose Francisco Matos. He is survived by: his children, Dolores Matos Tremarco, Alfredo Matos (Carmen) and Bernadette Duque (Joao); his grandchildren, Anthony Tremarco III (Diane), Jared Tremarco, Sophia Matos, Gabriel Duque and Alexander Duque; his great grandchildren, Isabella Marie and Anthony; and his sister Maria Fernanda Matos Rodrigues.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Buyus Funeral Home (426 Lafayette St, Newark, NJ 07105). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (82 Congress St, Newark, NJ 07105).
