It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arcilia Perez (Newark, New Jersey), who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Arcilia departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Arcilia. Though Arcilia may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Perez and Rosa Velazquez of Puerto Rico. She is survived by: her nieces, Aida Molinary and Deborah Lopez-Gutierrez; and also Elmer Gutierrez.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Alvarez Funeral Home Inc. (240 Mt Prospect Ave, Newark, NJ 07104).
