With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anne J. Loretta (Newark, New Jersey), who passed away on February 20, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Loretta and Mary Loretta; her sister Rose (late George Ruggeri); her nephew George A.; and her niece Diane Ruggeri.
She is survived by: her great-nieces and great-nephews, Patricia Ruggeri and Christian (Nita Ruggeri); her friend Suzanne (Dennis Pichnarcik); her caregiver Vida; and also Mayra.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Calendar Saint George Byzantine Catholic Church (214 Warwick St, Newark, NJ 07105). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:15 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959, a cause close to Anne's heart.
