We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2024, at the age of 94, Anna M. Smela (Newark, New Jersey), born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sister Mary Onuskonych (Harry). She is survived by: her daughters, Jean Stroud (William), Teresa Barrett and Maryann Timins (Alfred); her grandchildren, Adam, Matthew, Martin Stroud, Jonathan, Noelle Barrett, Rebecca, Rachel and Robin Timins; and her great grandchild Ryan Stroud. She is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews.
