With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard A. Mowbray of New Vernon, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mowbray and Florence Mowbray (Gubitz); his siblings, Florence Mowbray Spann, John "Jack" Mowbray, Thomas Mowbray and William "Bill" Mowbray; his former wife Margaret Keesee Mowbray; and his wife Catherine.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Mowbray (Lynne) of Flanders, NJ, Michele Anzivino of Lambertville, NJ, Robert Mowbray of Califon, NJ and Pamela Mowbray; his stepdaughter Mary Keesee of Florham Park, NJ.; his grandchildren, Melissa Davies (Gregory), Jean Fischetti (Michael), Julianne Salvatori (Michael), Sean Mowbray (Phoebe), Madeleine Stich (Adrian), Ryan Mowbray and Brandon Anzivino; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Grace Davies and Genevieve Mowbray; his friend Bob Smith; his health aide Daneil; and his close friend Jakie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Doyle Funeral Home (106 Maple Ave, Morristown, NJ 07960).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the New Vernon Volunteer Fire Department and First Aide Squad, 22 Village Road, New Vernon, NJ 07976.
