He was predeceased by: his parents, James Tighe and Helen Tighe (Doherty); his in-laws, James and Margaret Crann (Cooney); his brothers, Donald and Edward; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Coughlin, Constant Sperco, Eileen Coughlin, Margaret Tighe, Patricia Tighe and Alice Tighe.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Mary Longo (John), Elizabeth Tighe, Robert Tighe (Suzanne) and James Tighe (Kimberley); his grandchildren, John Longo (Maeve Gavagan), Robert Longo, Margaret Mary Tighe, Anne Tighe, Deirdre Tighe, Jack Tighe, Samantha Tighe, Michael Tighe and James Tighe; and his siblings, Albert, Peter, Joseph and Anita Sperco. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
