He was predeceased by: his parents, Judge Frank and Mafalda Pizzi (Barracano); his daughter Amy Elizabeth Pizzi; his siblings, Frank (Ginger) and Diane Ruggiero (Robert); his siblings-in-law, Neal Roche, Robert Roche and Kathyanne Held (Roche); and his nephew Dr. Charles Ruggiero.

He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Pizzi (Roche); his daughters, Kristen Shallcross (Patrick) and Kathleen Travia (Richard); and his grandchildren, Peyton, Carter, Kelsey, Holly Shallcross, Rosie, Daniel and Emily Travia.
