It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miriam Strachan (New Providence, New Jersey), born in Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on December 15, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Captain John Strachan; her parents, Theodore H. Deutz and Miriam F. Deutz; her brother Theodore F. Deutz; and her brother-in-law Christopher Strachan.

She is survived by: her sons, John D. Strachan of Bordentown, NJ and Douglas Wm; her grandchildren, Amy and Christopher; and her siblings-in-law, Nina Deutz and Robert Strachan. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
