Maryellen Woodstock Obituary
In loving memory of Maryellen Woodstock of New Providence, New Jersey, who departed this world on March 1, 2025 at the age of 87. Maryellen leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Batty and Catherine Batty (Morris); her siblings, George Batty and Dorothy Ries; and her husband Stephen Woodstock.
She is survived by: her children, Maryellen, Christopher S. Woodstock and Caitlin P. Woodstock; her nephew Kevin Batty; her niece Carol Gosiker (Batty); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Alyxandria Batty, Gracie-Ann Batty, Ryan Gosiker and Megan Gosiker. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walter Johnson Funeral Home (803 Raritan Rd, Clark, NJ 07066). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Helen's RC Church (1600 Rahway Ave, Westfield, NJ 07090).
