He was predeceased by: his parents, Bonether Harrell and Robert Harrell; and his brother Richard Harrell. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Odell Smith Harrell; his stepdaughter Cynthia Howard Amorese; his grandchildren, Brooke Craven and Bobby Spisak; his son Michael Harrell (Christina Baker); his grandchildren, Caitlin Harrell and Brandon Baker; his cousins, Jean Baggayan (Reuben) and Barbara Claiborne; his stepchildren, Tracy Howard Linton (Johnny), David Morgan and Richie Barnes; his grandchildren, Stephanie Craven, Chrissy Craven Perry and Brian Craven (Diana Signorile); and his great grandchildren, Anthony Vaughan, Jacob Kell, Jesse Craven, Jayson Kell, Jeremy Kell, Carly Perry, Molly Craven and Summer Perry.
He will be buried in a private ceremony on Oct. 28 at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, N. J. A memorial service for family and friends will be scheduled at a future date, when the COVID-19 pandemic has subsided and it's safer to gather.
