She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gertrude Malakie (Carpenter) and James Malakie; her children, Mary Robinson (Rich), Michael Torpey, Patrick Torpey (Cindi), Sean Torpey (Trish), Kevin Torpey and Timothy Torpey (Karen); her siblings, Mary Simons, James Malakie (Diane) and Douglas Malakie (Debbie); and her husband Michael "Tony" Torpey. She was also cherished by loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flower memorial donations may be made in her memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
