She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Margaret and Donald Gorski. She is survived by: her husband John P. Cushing; her son Robert Donald Cushing; her siblings, Diane Viveiros (Michael) and David Gorski (Michelle); her siblings-in-law, Debbie Rogers (Robert), Patricia Cucuel (Art) and Paul Cushing (Cathy); and her nieces and nephews, Mary McIsaac, Alex Gorski, Jack Gorski, Skye Rogers (Megan), Jim Rogers (Marka Sue), Kate Koons (Brian), Meg Rogers (Alberto), Cory Rogers, Keane Cucuel (Julie), Cassi Roberts (Blake), Mandy Franks and Bridget Lykins (Chad). She is also survived by loving great-nieces and great-nephews, extended family, and longtime friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her memory to the following charities near to Gail's heart: Breast Friends Fund, an organization devoted to metastatic breast cancer research.
