We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2024, at the age of 99, Frank T. Scalera of New Providence, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmela Scalera (Nee Bove) and Louis Scalera; his daughter Linda Scalera; and his siblings, Vincent Scalera, Madelyn Formato, Angie Scalera and Nicholas Scalera.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Scalera; his children, Donald Scalera, Richard Scalera (Darryl), Phyllis Petruzziello (late Joseph "Pino"), Mark Scalera (Evie) and Barbara Scalera (Jeffrey Psenisky); his grandchildren, Carly Long (Ken), Lindsey Scalera (Andrew Beifus), Ryan Scalera (Ashley) and Adam Petruzziello; his great grandchildren, Arabella, Aria, Jordan and Amelia; his siblings, Louis Scalera (Maria) and Mickey Spagnoletti (Nicholas); his stepgrandson Mark Otero (Ramona); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Catalina, Leo, Liam, Finnegan and Sean; and also Katherine Scalera.
