He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry "Lloyd" Garrett and Bessie Garrett (Kleckner); his wife Marian; his former wife Ann; and his siblings, Glenn Garrett, Mildred Lorenz, Henry Lloyd Garrett and Geraldine Rayner.
He is survived by: his children, Ann-Marie McCord, Cathy Carmack, Charlotte McDonald, Tami Pike (Tim) and Chuck Garrett (Erin); his grandchildren, Ginger Meade (Bryan), Stacy McCord, Shelly Carmack, Mark Horstmann (Terry), CJ McDonald (Meredith), Chris McDonald (Johanna), Hollie Elkin (James), Alexa Garrett and Charlie Garrett; his great great grandchildren, Chase Meade, Christopher Meade, Kelsie Meade, Shelby Carmack, Nathaniel Meade, Brooksley McDonald, Casey Willard, Wyatt McDonald, Rowan McDonald and Lauren McDonald; and his sister Catherine Bayless. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
