He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Nielsen and Jessie Nielsen (Delia); his siblings, Christian Nielsen Jr. and Margaret Nielsen; and his great grandchild Mina Lugosi Capinjola.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Nielsen (DeCorso); his children, June Nielsen (Kurt Koerner), Lawrence Nielsen (Maria), Susan Nielsen-Robles, Nicolas and Nancy Stenger (Greg); his grandchildren, Aimee (Brad Capinjola), Krystle Smith (Dan Pringle), Adam Nielsen, Nicolas J. Robles, Christine Robles, Jacob Stenger, Julia Stenger and Sarah Stenger; and his great grandchildren, Kayla, Connor, Kara, Corey Smith and Sophia Colvard.
All attendees are required to wear face masks inside the funeral home and church.
