He was predeceased by: his brother Dennis McCormack. He is survived by: his children, Darren McCormack (Patty), Thomas McCormack (Tracy) and Daniel McCormack; his stepchildren, Courtney Muller and Jason Muller (Kelly); and his sister Mary Potter.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his memory.
