She was predeceased by: her husband Stepan Avakian. She is survived by: her children, Linda Vinci (Anthony), Carol Sarajian (Robert) and Steven Avakian (Sonia). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Leon Armenian Church (12-61 Saddle River Rd, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at the George Washington Memorial Park (234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to St. Leon Armenian Church or to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
