He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joanne; his children, James Joseph Powers, III (Catherine) and Alexis Powers (Roberto Gonzalez); his grandchildren, Giuliana, Declan, Charlotte, Darius, Jada and Lydia; and his sisters, Theresa Rucereto (Joseph), Kathleen Howard (Michael) and Amelia Sigtermans. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
