He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dey and Rosalind Dey. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Ann Dey; his children, Heather and Tyler Dey; and his siblings, Susan Furman (Tom), Teresa Garriga (Bill), Nancy Laux, Timothy Dey (Patti) and Christopher Dey. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
