He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn (Van Horn); his parents, Edward and Ethel (Leigh); and his brothers, Ed and Timothy.
He is survived by: his children, Matthew (Aimee) of Hamilton, NJ and Amanda McElwain (Michael) of North Hanover, NJ; and his grandchildren, Gabriel, Abigail Scudder, Audrey and Grayson McElwain. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
