He was predeceased by: his parents, Oswald Carter and Mary H. Carter; and his daughter-in-law Diane Carter. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Carter; his children, Robert L. Carter, Jr. and Cheryl Hennigan (Edward); his grandchildren, Christopher Hennigan, Brett Carter (Christine Shoemaker) and Erin Littlefield (Ryan); his great grandchild Ava Carter; and his sister-in-law Joan Power of St. John's Newfoundland, Canada. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Robert's memory to the Diane C. Carter Endowed Scholarship Fund.
