She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Buckalew and Amalia Buckalew; and her sister Ethel Van Hise. She is survived by: her husband Bartom Amburgey of New Egypt; her children, Kurt Amburgey (Susan) of Brick, Kerry Peters (Jim) of New Egypt, Kent Amburgey (Karen) of New Egypt and Karla Amburgey (Maureen) of Moorestown; her grandchildren, Bob Amburgey (Tiffany), Michael Amburgey (Bernadette), Dana Tonkovich (Erik), Kristie Bendick (Peter), Ann-Marie Eidell, Julie Nymick (Carlos), Frank Nymick (Courtney), Rebecca Peters, Kelly Gubernat (Steve), Kyle Amburgey (Emily) and Kody Amburgey; and her siblings-in-law, Terry Amburgey and Narice Moore. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19 capacity restrictions, visitation for Janet will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at the Church of the Assumption, located at 28 Monmouth Road, Wrightstown NJ 08562, from 5PM to 7PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Janet's memory to the Plumsted Presbyterian Church, 14 Front Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533.
