He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas L. Dowd and Rose Marie Dowd; and his stepson Douglas Gamble. He is survived by: his wife Marie L. Dowd; his daughter Deneen Hill; his son-in-law Lee Hill of Cookstown; his grandchildren, James Hill, Thomas Hill, Krystle Hill (Brandon McCloskey) and Melissa Gamble-Messinese; his great grandchild Kaleb; his brother Joseph Dowd (Susan) of Oklahoma; his brother-in-law Edward Wilson of Levittown, PA; his nieces and nephews, Karen, Debbie, James, Richard and Colin; his pets, Gage and Bullet; and also Lisa "Lulu".
