With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward A. Bednarek (New Egypt, New Jersey), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bednarek and Agnes Bednarek; his wife Rachel "Raye" Bednarek; and his siblings, Thomas Bednarek, Dorothy Bocchetti and Carol Odierno.

He is survived by: his brother Dan; his daughters, Linda Ellmer (Ken) and Marie DeHart Sebel (Martin); his grandchildren, Jim Smith (Dana), Dan Ellmer (Stephanie), Katie Dehart and Matthew Sebel; and his great grandchildren, Logan and Ethan. He is also survived by several extended family members; and many nieces and nephews.
