She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Peters and Dorothea Peters; and her husband Walter Scott Garrett. She is survived by: her children, Matthew Garrett and Tonia Chvala (Timothy); her grandchildren, Evelyn Anne, Madelyn Lily Chvala and Sean Patrick Garrett; her brother Theodore Peter, Jr.; and her nieces, Rebecca Hernandez and Sarah Garcia.
