It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Stokes of New Brunswick, New Jersey, who passed away on May 13, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Stokes and Mack Stokes; his daughter Shimaya Williams; and his siblings, Dennis Tyrone Stokes, James Earl Stokes, Dorothy Lige and Marjorie Stokes.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Stokes of New Brunswick, NJ; his children, Roshanda Williams of North Brunswick, NJ. and Jamar Williams of North Brunswick, NJ.; his grandchildren, Taahira, Tamir, Jeremiah, Selina, Shania, Siy'aad, Devon, Serenity, Shimaya, Camar, Da'Vionne, Kamryn, Mekhi and Messiah; and his sisters, Peggy Boswell (Tommy) of Marlton, NJ, Mattie Lowery of South Brunswick, NJ, Joann Stokes of North Brunswick, NJ, Barbara Jean Stokes Watson of Jacksonville and Patricia Stokes-Kane of Blackwood, NJ. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
