She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard Carter; and her sisters, Lila Garvin (late John) of New Brunswick and Jessie Walker (late Johnny) of New Brunswick. She is survived by: her brother Michael Ford (Rose); her sons, Bernard Carter (Lynette) and Bruce Carter (Kathy); her grandsons, Jason Carter (Jaslyn) and Aaron Carter (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Sienna, Sydney Carter and Malcolm Carter; and her cousin Hattie Dorrell.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sharon Baptist Church (25 Howard St, New Brunswick, NJ 08901-3106).
