With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Marie Dowgin of New Brunswick, New Jersey, born in Plainfield, New Jersey, who passed away on January 20, 2025 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Ryan and Marie Ryan; her husband James J. Dowgin; her daughter Patricia M. Dowgin; and her brother Vincent J. Ryan.

She is survived by: her children, Michael V. Dowgin (Cathy), Dr. Thomas A. Dowgin (Joan), James M. Dowgin (Maria), Joan Dowgin Hilovsky (Larry) and Ann Dowgin Reilly (George). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
