Nicholas Baumgarten Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nicholas Baumgarten of New Brunswick, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Baumgarten and Maria Baumgarten (Kaminski); his son Robert; and his siblings, Marion, Adolf, Thaddeus and Wanda Ondeyko.
He is survived by: his nephews, David, Bruce Baumgarten and Dennis Ondeyko; his niece Linda Weinberg (Warren); his great-niece Christine (Ryan Sheldon); his close friends, Helen Rebmann, Denise Gilroy, Mark Helfin, Patty Opie, Doug Lamont and Ed Johnson; and also, Samuel and Kathleen Carver.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home (225 Mountain Ave, Bound Brook, NJ 08805). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Andrew's Memorial U. O. Cemetery (280 Main St, South Bound Brook, NJ 08880).
