He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cox and Ruth Cox (Rooney); and his siblings, George, Richard and Ruth Lauterback.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Walen); his son Matthew of North Brunswick; his sister Ann Asper of Ontario; his sister-in-law Mary Remm (David) of Hamilton; and his cousin Robert Cox (Rachael) of Sussex. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Donation may be made in Joseph's memory to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
