With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James R Hairston (New Brunswick, New Jersey), who passed away on October 7, 2021 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Hairston and Marissa Hairston; and his brother Aaron Hairston. He is survived by: his significant other Rochelle James; his children, Jamaal James (Tasha) and Tyesha Pichardo (Gilberto); his grandchildren, Jamaal James, Jr., Nazir James, Jalen Pichardo and Nylan Pichardo; and his sister Janet Allen Holsey. He is also survived by in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins and numerous other family members and devoted friends.
