He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Lacerda and Alda Lacerda (Oliveira Goncalves); and his siblings, Edmundo Lacerda, Frank DeSales and Maria Martins.

He is survived by: his wife Emma Lacerda; his children, Peter Lacerda (Susan), Maria Kosty (Michael), Alda Savite (Chuck) and Paula Kling (Bob); his grandchildren, Samantha, Charles, Gabriella, Julianna, Rebecca, Brandon, Sophia, Bridget and Brianna; and his brother Jacinto Lacerda. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
