He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Drake and Hazel Drake; his sister Virginia D. Scudder; and his nephew Brian L. Scudder. He is survived by: his sister Nancy D. Hoyt; his brother-in-law David L. Hoyt; his nephew David L. (Francine Hoyt Jr.); his great-nieces, Elizabeth and Elena; and his niece Sandra L. Scudder Wheeler.
