He was predeceased by: his parents, Rocco Simmerano and Louise Simmerano (Esposito). He is survived by: his wife Maria (Preziosi); his children, Maria Swift, John, Dr. Rocco Simmerano and Susanne; his grandchildren, Joseph, Thomas, Lauren, John IV and Anthony; and his sister Frances Simmerano.
