He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel and Nancy; and his close friend Betty Jean Babbitt. He is survived by: his children, Sharon Brantley, Edward Samuel George and James Scott George; his grandchildren, Sarah Brantley, Michael Miles, Andrew Miles and Daniel Miles; his great grandchild Nancy Koons; and his brother Biagio George.
