He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Burghard and Alfreda Burghard. He is survived by: his wife Lucyna E. "Lucy" Burghard; his daughter Caroline (Karl Erikson) of Hillsborough, NJ; his siblings, Christine Burghard and Richard Burghard (Nina); and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Henry and Lucy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; a cousin and other extended family and friends.
