She is survived by: her siblings, Oliver Barkley (Violet) of Virginia, Gloria McPherson (late Willie) of New Jersey, Fletcher Barkley (Gloria) of North Carolina, Eva Johnson (Lawrence) of Virginia and William Barkley (Johnsie) of Maryland; and her close friend Wafa Belaid.
