William Christopher Markley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Christopher Markley of Neptune, New Jersey, born in Trenton, New Jersey, who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Sarah Elizabeth (Brophy); his brothers, Keith and Michael Padderatz; and his close friend Gene Pucci. He is survived by: his father Robert James Markley; his daughter Rachel Tilghman (Cail); his girlfriend Tammy Rowe; his siblings, Richard Garots, Robert Markley, Holly Padderatz, Edie Foley, Mary Olsen (Kenneth) and Nora Kent (Gavin); his sister-in-law Ann Padderatz; his aunt Dorothy Morris; and his former wife Jill Markley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cellini Funeral Home (2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Rd, Hamilton Township, NJ 08619). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church (3816 E State St, Hamilton Township, NJ 08619). A committal service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (1800 Hamilton Ave, Hamilton Township, NJ 08619).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Parish of St. Anthony's-OLS, 3816 E. State St. Ext., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
