He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Banwell and Mildred Banwell; and his sister Cidny Fox. He is survived by: his siblings, Carrie Gronwald, Marilyn Stanley and James Banwell; his wife Elizabeth; and his stepdaughter Rachael Gorra.
