He is survived by: his brothers, Ernest Jones, Clarence Jones, Larry Jones and William Jones; his children, Jewmekia Morton, Samuel Jones Jr., Kishia Jones, Timothy Jones and Amber Makins Jones; and his close friend Carol Watson. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sons, daughters, and grandchildren.
