It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J Campbell of Neptune, New Jersey, born in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, who passed away on November 12, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Campbell and Margie Campbell (Dangler); and his sister Jane Campbell-Bierach. He is survived by: his friends, Norman Irons and Tommy O. Always; his wife Susan Campbell (Trainor); his children, Diane, Mike Dignard of Wall, NJ, John Campbell, Barbara and Odin of Wall, NJ; his granddaughters, Jill Schoch (Adam) of Manasquan, NJ and Jessica Mayer (Pete) of Wall, NJ; and his great grandchildren, Liliana, Natalie Schoch and Emily Mayer.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in loving memory of Bob be made to Rami's Heart COVID Memorial (GoFundMe page) or to the American Legion post 346 of Neptune, NJ.
