He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert H. Forsyth, Sr. and Margaret Forsyth; his sister Elizabeth "Betsy" Pohler; his granddaughter Lily Rose Rotante; and his great-nephew Bryce Robert Ruding.
He is survived by: his nephew Matthew Ruding; his great-nephew Charlie Ruding; his friend William Zebrowski; his former wife Barbara Forsyth of Ocean Township; his daughter Justine Rotante (Daniel Rotante) of Jackson Township; his grandsons, Mason Palace, Leo Rotante and Owen Rotante; and his siblings, Kathy Ruding (Craig Ruding) of Wall Township, John Forsyth of Freehold Township, Barbara Singletary and Cindy Palczer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services are private and held under the direction of Ely Funeral Home in Neptune, due to the ongoing pandemic.
