He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Smith Horner; his stepfather Fred Horner; and his father Earl Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Betty "Cookie" (Van Brunt); his children, Michael, Lori Toro (Luis) and Christopher (Susan Knoud-Andrews); his grandchildren, Kimberly, Elizabeth, Mitchell, Conner and Caine; and his siblings, Jerry and NJ.
