She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John O'Brien and Bridget Lucid; her husband Alfred; her sons, William, Patrick (Lorraine) of Howell, Alfred, Jr. (Heidi) of Toms River and Sean (Stephanie) of Neptune City; her daughter-in-law Ana of Toms River; and her grandchildren, Kevin, Shannon, Kerry, Brian, Patrick, Rylee and Nicholas.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Joan's memory to the St. Vincent De Paul Society at Holy Innocents Church, Neptune.
