It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Roberts (Neptune, New Jersey), who passed away on April 13, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur "Bill" Roberts and Minnie Biggers Roberts of Asbury Park, NJ.; and his siblings, Ulysses, Walter "Bucky" Roberts, Elsie Roberts, Evelyn Perry and Shirley Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Valerie Roberts of Neptune, NJ; his children, Jacquetta Winters of Montclair, NJ, Romaine Roberts of Long Branch, Tiara Phillips (Neptune) and James Roberts of Lawrenceville, GA; his stepson Jadus McIntyre of Neptune, NJ; his sister Juanita Jones of Buffalo, NY; his grandchildren, Ian, Leah, Jada, Jalen, Justin, Na Zyiah, Arionna, My'Shaun, Mo'riah, Jadius, Jayahanna and Javon; and his nieces and nephews, Celeste Sang, Daphne Roberts, Kim Roberts, Wanda Roberts, Richard Jones, Greg Perry, James Q. Roberts, Walter Roberts and Dale Roberts.
