It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Isis K Draper (Neptune, New Jersey), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on December 1, 2024, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Isis departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Isis. Though Isis may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her father Sherman Hodge. She is survived by: her daughter Kaelah Y. Grant (Hamilton Grant); her mother Yvonne T. Draper; her grandmother Emma J. Draper; and her stepfather Charles Taylor. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ely Funeral Home (3316 NJ-33, Neptune City, NJ 07753). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the Monmouth Memorial Park (4201 NJ-33, Tinton Falls, NJ 07753).
