He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Collins and Marie Collins; his wife Judy Collins; and his sister Marie Collins. He is survived by: his sister Valerie Daly of Warwick; his children, Sharon Collins of Neptune and Stephen Collins (Kim Collins); and his grandsons, Jack and William Collins of South Glastonbury. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
